Corner of a River
03:45
|
|||
I’ve been sitting on the corner of a river, Just on trying to find my soul
I’ve been sitting on the corner of a river, Just on trying to let it show
I’ve been sitting on the corner of a river, Just on trying to find my soul
Now I say yeah, let me be
I cannot see my soul in this stream
If we, if we can see that, any other way. We will
If we, if we can see that, any other way. We will
And sometimes I go to the ocean to watch those waves crash
See the power of the wind, reflected off the water
And the birds beg, by the sea
May I be unable to hear those oceans cry
Can I read in between those lines
Can I quell those voices in my head
Can I see you all when I’m dead
I’ve been sitting on the corner of a river, Just on trying to find my soul
I’ve been sitting on the corner of a river, Just on trying to let it show
I’ve been sitting on the corner of a river, Just on trying to find my soul
Now I say yeah, let me be
I cannot see my soul in this stream
Sometimes I go to the mountain, to watch from that bird’s eye
To recollect my thoughts, and thank God that surrounds me
And to seal my mind without a seam
May I be unable to hear those oceans cry
Can I read in between those lines
Can I quell those voices in my head
Can I see you all when I’m dead
I’ve been sitting on the corner of a river, Just on trying to find my soul
I’ve been sitting on the corner of a river, Just on trying to let it show
I’ve been sitting on the corner of a river, Just on trying to find my soul
Now I say yeah, you’ve set me free
I can now see my soul in this dream
I can now see my soul in this dream
I can now see my soul in this dream
I can now see my soul in this dream

San Diego Sunshine
03:46
|
|||
What am I gonna do today, woke up in the desert dunes
Lazy eyes and a bit of daze, grabbed some gears and was on my way
Loaded up the bikes, headed west
Driving thru the mountain trees, Cali smile with the windows down
Summer breeze on my face
sandy beaches palm trees calling my name
Board shorts and flip-flops are all I need
Bikinis wild hair tan skin all around
Red light, no big thing, take your time, looking so fine
San Diego sunshine has made my day
We’re all looking for the same thing
Tell me, how do you, want to play
Breeze palm trees, west side Cali
living it up every day, dunes to the bay
beach blue skies San Diego sunrise
up to the mountains let’s take a ride
do it all, just one day
San Diego Cali born and raised
blessed in the west under the California sun
and the west is where we're blessed
the day has just begun so
Take your time, looking so fine
San Diego sunshine has made my day
We’re all looking for the same thing
Tell me, how do you, want to play
What am I gonna do today, woke up in the desert dunes
Hazy waves as I end my day, green flash in the sunset rays
San Diego sunshine has made my day
We’re all looking for the same thing
Tell me, how do you, want to play
Summer breeze on my face
sandy beaches palm trees calling my name

A Street
04:45
|
|||
Life is what it is if you want to try to make it
Always watch your back know somebody about to take it
Don’t look back just put it all behind
Now we’re about to take a ride to the other side of town
A st rollin how you living, don’t be trippin
Thankful for what you got, and be thankful what you’re given
Sometimes life throws a curve it’s not all it seems
Staying up all night, tied up in those dreams
Feeling so high and low thinking about that day
When you say you love me, forever you would stay
It’s time to take it down let the rhythm feel the crowd
Now I’m about to take a ride to the other side of town
You know I'm rollin down A Street
You know I'm rollin down A Street
You know what’s up, you know all the things that you gotta do
No need to be a backseat driver, the wheel of life is in front of you
Nevermind the problems keep your mind focused and u will solve them
Keep your head up, eyes up, better on top than down to the bottom
So grab your keys and cruise control to the place we met before
We can take our time, no need to push the pedal down to the floor
Let the wind flow gently through your hair and through your fingertips
As we take a ride to the other side, unforgettable trip
I'm rollin down A Street
You know I'm rollin down A Street
I'm rollin down A Street
You know I'm rollin down A Street
What’s up with this world you know it’s hanging off the hinge
About to take a ride to the Brooklyn Bridge
Won’t take me long I’ll be back within a day
Back to Cali streets rolling down the A
All good life is good don’t try to stop and think
Be gone before it’s over, be gone before you blink
Always stay strong stand up for what you believe
Chilling top of the block at the JBC
I be rollin A Street
I'm rollin down A Street
I be rollin A Street
You know I'm rollin down A Street
I be rollin A Street (3xs)
I'm rollin down A Street
I be rollin A Street
You know I'm rollin down A Street
I be rollin A Street
I be rollin A Street
You know I'm rollin down A Street
You know I'm rollin down A Street
Rollin down A Street

I Know I Know You
04:03
|
|||
From the hills where I climb to the ocean below
I've met a few of you soft voices in my mind
It's a wild ride, watching as these steps unfold
It seems not long ago a pure face just locked in time
I know I know you
Do you think you know me too
If you don't believe me,
I know this much is true
These weathered pages turn held loosely within our grasp
Our loved one how have gone before,
their lack of presence leaves a gap
Within them lay the ruin, and rules by which to live
Desperate for connection, with only so much time to give
(2xs)
I know I know you
Do you think you know me too
If you don't believe me,
I know this much is true
(2xs)
I know I know you
Do you think you know me too
If you don't believe me,
I know this much is true
I know I know you but were you really real?
Or were you just another figment of a dream I can't unfeel
(2xs)
I know I know you
Do you think you know me too
If you don't believe me,
I know this much is true

Hard Sometimes
04:21
|
|||
It gets a little hard I can't sleep at night
Toss and I turn searchin for the words to make this right
Things I needed you had them for me
Will you ever forgive me
It's hard sometimes to say I love you
It's hard sometimes to show I care
Maybe one day see you again
Well goodbye for now until then
When I speak it seems you don't hear
Somehow my words appear to be unclear
I give you all, and you still need more
I watch you, walk out the front door
It's hard sometimes to say I love you
It's hard sometimes to show I care
Things I needed you had them for me
Will you ever forgive me
It's hard sometimes to say I love you
It's hard sometimes to show I care
Maybe one day see you again
Well goodbye for now until then
It's hard sometimes to say I love you
It's hard sometimes to show I care
Things I needed you had them for me
Will you ever forgive me
It's hard sometimes to say I love you
It's hard sometimes to show I care
Things I needed you had them for me
Will you ever forgive me
Will you ever forgive me
Can you ever forgive me
Did you ever forgive me

Year in Review
04:05
|
|||
Thinking back on the last couple months
Things are getting strange
Red and Blue, Donkey's and Elephants
Can't see eye to eye
That makes sense,
since they are both different relative sizes
Ridiculous symbols of the opposing sides
Another year has come
Another year has gone
Everything is changing
And things keep getting stranger
Weirder and weirder every day to myself I will say
It's time to shut your mouth down now
The value of a song
Is only worth as much
As an overflowing heart, filling up your cup
Ya making music is hard, yet fun
Expensive, with its all-consuming plans
It gives the illusion of controlling time
Painting invisible pictures emotions with both of its irreversible hands
We're all wandering the halls, like some lonely tenant
Writing on the walls, creating proofs of our existence
It's a year in review, peace and rain
Fear overthrew the worry and pain
The war in the world, can it ever end
This peace on earth, is just another trend
Cuz when things turn worse, they seem to go far
Away from your mind and never disappear
You got hope in your heart, searching for the love
Not far set apart, knowing all comes from above
Another year has come
Another year has gone
Everything is changing
And things keep getting stranger
Weirder and weirder every day to your face I would say
you need to shut your mouth down now

Scissors Crossing
03:56
|
|||
In 1867 yellow fever took my wife
Had 5 grown children, in the dust bowl I called life
Heard there was gold over the mountains in the valley
So I grabbed a hat and supplies, and I put my backpack on
And I looked up to the hills, and I grabbed my walking stick
And I packed Winchester steel, for the ride
Felt that heat from the desert sky, tried to keep his old hat on
Tales of untold treasure, Julian gold, mountain strong
Story of a southern trail, the only way he could go
Goodbye Texas, Hello Mexico
The rain came down, as he missed home
Sun’s going down, and it won’t be long
But the only hope he has is down the road, down the road, down the road
After three days of travel, found a bed for the night
Met a two faced stranger with a one track mind
The knife behind their back showed I had no chance of surviving
So I ran, down the road, down the road, down the road, down the road
So I walked into the valley with the sun behind my back
Met a couple soldiers and a slimmer fat stack
I met a man who told me, oh son what are you doing here?
You better buy your shit, get out of town, and run away in fear
Keep climbing those miles, over that mountain
He feels he knows that he is gonna die
A man all alone, he is stranded
He’s trying to find a way back, to that state line
Up ahead, he sees his face on a sign
Takes a closer look and can’t believe his eyes
Wanted for murder and other heinous crimes
$1000 bounty
Dead or Alive
Dead or Alive
Dead or Alive
Dead or Alive

The Last Me
03:50
|
|||
You are young, yet you're growing old
It's hard to hear the conversations
Around your head desperately
Trying to communicate
And leave good faith and loving consequence
One of the last things he said
Please go pet the horses
For within five days I will be dead
Electromagnetic paranoia
He said,
I don't want to be the last me
But I made the choice not to have a child
I wanted to be free, it must be hard
Caring for someone who is dying
He asked me to clear some space
In the safest room
There were boxes stacked high and wide
And within them there were secrets
Truths and lies, they both did abound
One of the last things he said
Please turn off the power
I can hear those wolves calling me
In the night, and shortly I will join them
He said,
I don't want to be the last me
But I made the choice not to have a child
I wanted to be free, it must be hard
Caring for someone who is dying
We are young, yet we're growing old
Spend time with your loved ones
Make it a point to show you care
Try and to communicate
And leave good faith, and loving consequence

Midnight's Approaching
04:40
|
|||
Well I've got something to sing
About you dancing girls in the crowd
All spinning around, those heels off the ground
You all look so pretty to me
Midnight's approaching, sun's nearly up
There's no place I'd rather be
So, dance dance, dance dance
Come on honey won't you dance
So, dance dance, dance dance
Come on honey won't you dance
Full moon lights shining on you
Drop that bottle down
We've got another song or two
You all move, and all seem to know
How to make a man walk a mile
You might feel a little down and out
We have a remedy for you
So, dance dance, dance dance
Come on honey won't you dance
So, dance dance, dance dance
Come on honey won't you dance
I know you might be tired right now
But you've gotta keep on going till the end
So come on girls, grab a partner right now
And dance like the music never ends
I bet if you have an open heart
You'll see that music never ends
That's why I'll always sing for you
While your body plays the other part
Midnight's approaching, sun's nearly up
Keep that rhythm till the end
So, dance dance, dance dance
Come on honey won't you dance
So, dance dance, dance dance
Come on honey won't you dance
I know you might be tired right now
But you've gotta keep on going till the end
So come on girls, grab a partner now
And dance like the music never ends
Now we've come to the final part
Although our paths will meet again
Life is just one big dream
Living together for all it seems
I think I read that in a book
Midnight's approaching, sun's nearly up
Now close your eyes for that final hook
So, dance dance, dance dance
Come on honey won't you dance
So, dance dance, dance dance
Come on honey won't you dance
Come on everybody won't you dance
Sometimes good times should never end
Sometimes good times should never end

Keep on Ridin
05:48
|
|||
Keep on ridin
Keep on livin
Keep on breathin
We were born free
Keep on ridin
Keep on livin
Keep on fightin
We were born free
Open my eyes see what I could find,
Found an open highway just ease my mind
The wind is my wings begins to lift my soul,
I can’t slow down or I’ll lose control
Sunrise tomorrow brings another day,
I keep on ridin, and I can’t stay
A life to live is a lesson earned
I don’t keep track of the years I burned
Another town another city they just pass me by,
Rollin down this road to see what I could find
Didn't take long to be long gone,
Twist an open throttle and play that song
Every exit I pass another story to tell,
Next stop could be heaven or hell,
I don’t keep track of the years I burned
A life to live is a lesson earned
Keep on ridin
Keep on livin
Keep on breathin
We were born free
Keep on ridin
Keep on livin
Keep on fightin
We were born free
Ya you know we ride, knuckles in the wind,
Every day since the day ever did begin
Some say it's just me livin free
Born to ride born American free
Another town another city they just pass me by,
Rollin down this road to see what I could find
Didn't take long to be long gone,
Twist an open throttle and play that song
Sunrise tomorrow brings another day,
I keep on ridin, and I can’t stay
A life to live is a lesson earned
I don’t keep track of the years I burned
Keep on ridin
Keep on livin
Keep on fightin
We were born free
Keep on ridin
Keep on livin
Keep on breathin
We were born free
Keep on ridin
Keep on livin
Keep on fightin
We were born free
